Kailop.com is a website dedicated to the European market. We currently have two hardshell rooftop tents in stock in our warehouse, one with rear access and one with side access. This article details how to build a hardshell rooftop tent. If you need more information, please contact us.
Kailop's European market currently consists only of flip tents.
Flip-top car roof tents are currently the easiest type of tent to set up.
When opening the tent, you must ensure that you open all the closures on the outside of the tent. (The Adventure 1.0, for example, has 6 tent closures on the outside, all of which must be opened in order to unfold the tent).
Make sure the latches on the outside of the tent are fully open, then hold the handrail and lift it a little with a little force and the nitrogen-filled hydraulic rods will do the rest of the lifting.
Next, insert the rain canopy support poles into the holes in the tent floor first, then hook the front end of the poles into the holes in the rain canopy (make sure that the order is not reversed to avoid injury from the poles springing back).
- Note that the telescopic ladder has two hooks that must be securely hooked into the tent floor bracket to avoid an unstable installation that could injure you!
